Friday fill-in: Premiere of Visual Liturgy Live

VL Live is Premiered at the Times and Seasons book launch.

The Church of England Liturgical Commission officially launched three new publications yesterday at St Marylebone Parish Church, London. The Rt Revd Stephen Platten, Chairman of the Liturgical Commission, launched Common Worship: Times & Seasons, Using Common Worship: Times and Seasons 1, and Together for a Season 1 at an event attended by members of the Liturgical Commission, diocesan liturgical committee members, staff of Church House Publishing, and members of the press.

At the end of the day, Church House Publishing demonstrated Visual Liturgy Live, giving the new version of the software its first public outing in an opportunity to show how far the development has come, and also to show how powerful the new features are when combined with the new liturgical material published recently by CHP such as Times and Seasons. The new-look software was well received both by new users and experienced VL users.

Visual Liturgy Live is in its final stages of quality assurance. This is later than we had hoped, but it reflects the depth and breadth of new features which need to be thoroughly tested; our plan is to ship the software very soon and barring any last-minute hitches it will be delivered before Christmas to those of you who have pre-ordered or are about to order. You can pre-order Visual Liturgy Live from Church House Publishing.
