They have been authorized in response to a motion by the Liverpool Diocesan Synod requesting texts in language that is more accessible to many of those who ask for baptism.<\/p>\n<p>Once installed, you will find three new service templates in the Holy Baptism section in Visual Liturgy. <\/p>\n<p>The template \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Additional Texts for Holy Baptism in Accessible Language (as printed)\u00e2\u20ac\u009d has the new texts together with the introduction and guidance notes. This is not intended as a ready to use service, but as a resource.<\/p>\n<p>The templates \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Baptism at Holy Communion using the Additional Texts in Accessible Language\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Baptism using the Additional Texts in Accessible Language\u00e2\u20ac\u009d are sample services that you can use as-is or adapt to your needs. Note that there are choices to be made depending on whether the candidates for baptism are able to answer for themselves.<\/p>\n<p>This update also requires an update to the Visual Liturgy software, designed to improve its use for Daily Prayer and to fix some small issues.
